It's a Wonderful Life!

It is so hard to believe that seven years have gone by since the establishment of The Ewart Group in May of 2002.  I’ve always heard that the only regret that most small business people have is that they didn’t start their companies sooner, but I have very few regrets about my life.  Spending 23 years running chambers of commerce in five great communities gave me many wonderful memories.  The meaningful accomplishments of thousands of committed men and women in those communities live on today.  I’m so grateful that the staffs, Boards of Directors, and volunteers of those chambers of commerce have been an integral part of my life.  I am fortunate to have known each one of them.

I’m gratified to have had the opportunity, since 1991, to teach and mentor thousands of chamber of commerce and association executives through the United States Chamber’s premier professional development program, the Institute for Organization Management.  I’m passionate about the Institute program and the professional development, tools, and resources it offers each participant.

I’m also grateful to have had each one of you in my life.  Thank you for your friendship and support over the past seven years and in a number of cases many more years than seven.  You mean more to me than you can possibly know.  Continue to have the courage and tenacity to do the things that need to be done to move your communities, chambers, associations, churches, organizations, and businesses forward.  Make your organizations and businesses the ones that members, customers, and clients can not do without.
