Chuck Ewart is a past president of five Chambers of Commerce and a recipient of the CCE - Certified Chamber Executive, the highest designation of the chamber profession and has been honored as one of the top ten faculty members of the United States Chamber's Institute for Organization Management. In July 2003, Chuck was inducted as an Honorary Life Member of the Carolinas Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives for his 23 years of service and contribution to that organization. Chuck and his wife, Jo, live in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Chuck has facilitated hundreds of planning retreats and written numerous strategic plans for chambers of commerce, associations, and organizations throughout the United States. The Greensboro (NC) Chamber of Commerce received an “Award of Merit” from ACCE for the strategic business plan written in collaboration with The Ewart Group. Chuck has written a “how-to” manual entitled Successful Planning Retreats that has been used by organizations throughout the country. He has been a guest motivational speaker for hundreds of functions and events.
